More Canada

It was so nice to smell the smells see the sights of the farm. I definitely miss farming and driving the tractors and riding the horses and fourwheelers. It was fun to watch the kids running around playing with so much to do and explore!

Trip to Canada!

We finally got to go home to Vanderhoof. It was the kids first trip up there and they all did so wonderfully. I am was so grateful. Tyler had to stay back and work. So just the kids and I drove up there. I had almost forgotten the beauty up there. I love it so much. The mountains and lakes and trees and just all the greenery! I loved seeing Vanderhoof. It hasn't changed much in 5 years. Which is a good thing I guess. It was fun to see the fields and ride the fourwheelers and horses and just to see all the family and friends. We got to have a big family dinner at Tyannas house so I got to visit and see all the aunts and uncles and cousins and their kids. I can't believe how big all those kids have gotten. Tara had so much fun with all of them but Jenna had gotten a little overwhelmed with all the people and started crying and saying she wanted to stay inside so she went inside and fell asleep on the couch. We got to spend a day on the fourwheeler running around and seeing all the fields I used to farm and seeing hart lake and all the old back roads. It was fun to see what Tyanna and Ammon are planning for their new house and land. Their plans seem to be awesome. I can't wait to go back up when it is all done! Hopefully its not too long! :)

Utes Baseball

Went to out first Utah Utes baseball game this summer. It was pretty fun. We got some free tickets through the university apartments type thing. It was pretty fun to go with the kids. Tyler didn't get to come for some reason. Probably school. Anyway we didn't last the whole game obviously I think we made it through like 3 innings before the kids decided it wasn't fun and started running up and down the isles. And Danny was getting restless. But we were winning when we left. So if was good.

Sick Little Jenna!

Jenna is sick now. Poor little girl has been laying and sleeping on the couch all day long. She looks as if she is getting a little better now. But right as I was about to take Tara to preschool she threw up all over everything! She was soaked. The couch was soaked and blankets and boy was it a mess. So I had to call Leslie Evans and ask her to take Tara while I tried to help Jenna get cleaned up and such. And Danny had woke up at that moment and was crying in his crib for me to come get him. Pretty funny that he got so mad. He could hear me running around with Jenna trying to get everything in the wash and washing her up and such. Anyway. Tara had a good day at school and she came home with home work and couldn't wait to get started on it! I like that she loves it so much.

Sick little Girl.

Tara got a bad fever starting last night. She was super hot and sweating and chills and such in the night so I stayed up with her for a while. Put a cold rag on her head and tried to help her as much as I knew how. Then she finally fell back asleep after about an hour. And then when we woke up in the morning she started throwing up. She couldn't keep anything in her system. Any water she drank or food she ate came right back up. That lasted till about 4 o'clock this afternoon and then she started to feel better after some more Tylenol. Her fever went down from 103.7 to 99F in about an hour and started to feel much better. She kept down a pancake and some apple juice. Now she seems to be doing just fine but still a little on the warm side. Gotta love the laundry and the smells from having throw up all over everything. It was always so heartbreaking though to see your kids in pain. I am pretty nervous about how Jenna will do when she goes in for her surgery. She is already so apprehensive about getting shots and going to the doctor in general. I wish I could ease that feeling for her but I think it will just get worse for her from now on. Not really much you can do about that but try and prepare her for what will happen. I am sure she doesn't remember her first surgery. I'm not sure how she will react to this one. Fingers crossed. Tara is a trooper. She just pushed through it and doesn't whine or cry when she is sick. Just silently takes it and snuggles and such. Love these little girls of Mine!

New project

I have started this new project as a part of Charlotte's Game On. (Reason I am now writing on this blog everyday.) So my project is to redo my table and chairs. So far I have the Table top done and like 2 and 1/2 chairs actually sanded. And one 1/2 painted. The plan is to paint the seat the same color as the table and then paint the back and legs white to off set the colors. But the white I have painted it seems a little too white. Like its a perfect snow white and seems a little too BAM! And then Tyler suggested that I stain the seat a dark mahogany which is also a good idea but I can quite decide what really want. I will have to post before and after pictures and then I guess ill know if I made the right decision.

Easter Dresses

This year I made Easter dresses for Jenna and Tara. I loved how they turned out although one was a bit on the wide side and I even remember trimming it down a little bit from the pattern I had. But the girls just look so darn cute in them and they still like to wear them when they can. These two are just tooo cute!

University carnival

The University Apartments do this thing every summer where there are a bunch of games and crafts and snacks and there is a pony ride and tons of stuff to do! The girls love going and they wanted to do the pony ride over and over again. They love the horses. They love the time we get to do stuff like this as a family and so do I.

Easter

This year for Easter a few friends and us got together and put together a pretty sweet easter egg hunt for all of our kids. We had so many eggs to find, each kid had their baskets completely full! They had so much fun running around with their friends. Eliza Jensen is one of the girls' good friends and they love her. Jenna kept throwing the eggs on the cement and watching them roll! Then running to pick them all up again. But then other kids would try to pick up her eggs and she would get mad! Lol so she went further away and tried again. We had a great easter day at church and a great meal with Aaron and mom and dad.  

Little Sweetheart Jenna!

Jenna is the sweetest little girl. She absolutely loves her little brother soooo much! She is always trying to help him do everything! Helping him walk, eat, giving him his Blanky, putting him on the couch and bed, in the laundry basket and pushing him around. He loves the attention she gives him. Jenna loves to play with her close friends and loves to play role playing games, and puzzles(like Tara). She has a hard time in larger crowds with lots of people. She gets really overwhelmed when there is too much going on. Lots of times she will find a quiet sport or at least a spot away from the goings on. When we had a family dinner at Tyanna's she went inside and fell asleep on the couch, and the other day we were playing a game of keep away out in the court with a bunch of friends, girls vs. boys, and she really did not like that idea so went to the side and sat by herself the whole time we were out there. I felt so bad for her but had no idea what to do, or how to help her, or even what to say to her and she was so hurt and crushed when I didn't come and sit by her to talk. But being the sweet girl she is she said she forgives me. I felt terrible when she talked to be about how sad she was but when she said that I was so proud to be her mom, even though I felt like a terrible one. She loves to help me in the kitchen and loves to help clean up as long as I am helping her. :) Jenna loves the rain and jumping in puddles and playing in the mud. She also loves to ride horses and begs to go riding. She always want to go to the zoo. She loves to take her time, although doesn't like to be left behind so she is always running after Tara. She also calls Tara, Tair. Its pretty cute. Lol because Tara is just too long! She likes to draw and ride her bike. Her favorite foods are: oranges, macaroni and cheese, popsicles, cookies, and crackers! Her favorite color is Purple, Tara's is pink. Her favorite song is I love to see the Temple. Jenna loves to go to preschool and getting to know her new friends. She likes to put events in order right now. First this will happen then this and then we will get to go here ....or do this...  or Monday is the day after Sunday and we go to the doctor on Monday and then our friend can come to our house! She is a special little girl and we love her tons.
