Just thought I would post a couple pictures of the kids in their Halloween costumes. They are pretty excited!

 

yup... The Zoo!

Sorry but the girls just loves to take pictures when we are at the zoo. Take a picture mom. Take a picture. And James, the girls friend that lives in Riverton came up and went to the zoo with us. It was pretty fun to see them. Emily is one of my good friends. I love that being here at school, I have made some life long friends, she is definitely one of them.

 

Kiddos

I love it when the kids play all together and have fun together. Most the time its Jenna and Tara trying to play with Danny but really just torturing him. But I don't think he minds too much. He needs a brother so he doesn't have to follow them around for the rest of his life. But for the most part the girls just love and adore him and he loves them. He follows them all around the house and cries when they shut the doors. I love them all so so much. They are my pride and joy. It is so fun to watch their personalities change and grow and the difference interests they have. And the ones they will do just because their sister does it.

 

zoo again

The zoo is our go to. We go pretty much every week and the girls just love it. The got polar bears recently and they are pretty fun to watch. One of them is always swimming. They are really good swimmers. Obviously they need to be considering their real habitat. But it seems mean to me they put them in the pen write next to the seals and there is a window between them and the seal. Just seems mean to put the food right there next to them and never be able to go chasing after it. Even for fun. They even put the zebras right next to the lions. I mean common. But I guess if they never lived in the wild they wouldn't know any better when food is always handed to them. Anyway. Kids are cute and they love to go. So much fun. And totally worth it.

This was the coolest. They had circus at the fair. This girl did Ariel acrobatics. It was so fun to watch! They did a few different acts. There was also a girl who did hand stand contortion, which I just find weird and disturbing. But they there was also this cool Ariel show they did. Tow hoops on opposite ends of this iron walk. All suspended in the air and it was swinging around and around on its axis. And it was crazy people running around inside and outside the hoops whit no tether. It was crazy. Scary but entertaining. It was pretty cool. Crazy the things people come up with.

These girls love their friends! This is Isaac and Eliza Jensen. We are friends with their family. We love them and have lots of fun together.

State Fair

We got to go to the state fair this summer! It was so fun to take the girls and let them drag me around looking at all the animals and posing for the camera. They love to take silly pictures. They really liked to pet the babies at the petting barn. More to come later.

 

Sunday is a Special Day

Sunday is a great day to relax and take time to recharge and to reflect on how you are doing. At church today I actually got to really listen and pay attention to what was being taught and said. It was a very uplifting day and wake up call to some things. I got to learn about lehis dream, about prophets and about being kind, friendly and neighborly. I need to do and be better with all these things. I love that Sundays show you the things that will help us to improve.

Jenna was also sick yesterday and today. Just a small cough. But she can't be sick for her surgery this week. I hope that it would stop it from moving forward. I really hope if we do have to reschedule that it won't be too long of a wait.

Today I am grateful for my apartment, especially a clean one! I am grateful for good, funny and kind hearted kids. I am grateful for a thoughtful, kind, caring and wonderful husband.

Rough Day

Poor little Danny had a really rough day today. This morning all of the kids were playing on my bed while I folded clothes and then I changed Danny's diaper and went to through it away. Came back and he had just fallen off the bed because the girls had jumped at the same time throwing him off balance and causing him to fall. He didn't have any cuts or anything but had a bad rug burn on his chin and he also had blood gushing from his gums around his teeth. Then we went to the zoo and he was in the stroller as we were going down a hill and he dropped his snacks so I stopped quickly to pick them up and he shot out and face planted right on the cement. Never saw that coming. Poor baby got a nice burn down his nose. No blood but still hurt and oh I felt soooo bad. And again we were playing outside and no one was on the swings and Danny was walking around playing in the wood chips when Tara decides to jump on the swing and Jenna pushes her right into Danny making him face plant right into wood chips again!!! Blood from him teeth again. Just one thing after another. I just felt so horrible for him he looked so miserable and tired and just miserable. Poor little thing. But tonight I got a few smiles and laughs out of him so all in all he is ok.

Been thinking about a lot of things today.... whether we get a job soon.... where are we going to move..... when will that be.... will we have enough money to keep going until we get a job.... how will Jenna do in surgery next week..... should I be worried..... what are the things I want/ need to know from the doctor when we get there..... how will she handle the recovery..... will she ever want to go to the doctor again!..... what activities should be planned for the RS..... how are all the women doing in the ward..... what can I do to help those who are struggling.... how do I even know who those women are..... So many questions without many answers. And the list goes on. Keep praying I guess is the only answer.

danny snuggles

I feel like I really have nothing interesting to say today. I am grateful for the snuggles I got from Danny today. He snuggled me for a good couple mins and it was so nice to take those mins and enjoy the little miracle that he is. I love my little boy and how much he loves his family and how much he loves to laugh and play. He loves to laugh all the time. Any funny face or gesture or tickle he busts up. So funny.  little boy has me wrapped around his finger!

happy thanksgiving

Crazy happy thanksgiving. Today was Canadian thanksgiving. We went today to kid to kid which is a second hand store for just kids. And got Halloween costumes and we got some winter coats for the girls and snow pants for danny. We got lots of stuff Nd the girls were super excited about it. But its terrible how much things cost! I hate how much these things are! But o well I guess. I also made bread and I painted a couple chairs and I made a apple pie to share with friends and neighbors. It was a good day. And I'm thankful for friends and family who love me. I love my kids. They are the best  miracles in life. They are my pride and joy.

Sunday

Woke up this Sunday morning with a bad stomach ache. I had to find someone to get to ward council for me, luckily one of them could. I have such amazing counselors. I decided I could go to church at 11. But sitting through sacrament meeting I felt pretty terrible so I decided to go home. Took a nap and felt better when I woke up thank goodness. But Tyler still made dinner it was actually a really good black bean soup. We had some chips and cheese with it too and the girls actually ate a good portion of it. And Danny downed it! Lol he's a pretty funny kid.

Scotty McCreery

We went up to Rexburg on a weekend and went to the Scotty McCreery Concert! It was pretty fun. Danny was still really little poor boy. I was going to take him into the concert with us but apparently they wouldn't allow that. So Thomas being the awesome brother in law that he is came and picked him up and took him back home so that we could go to the concert. It was pretty darn fun. Scotty is a great singer and has some great songs and he did a few really good cover songs. It was a lot of fun, and he did one of his new songs that he hadn't released yet. Called 5 more mins. It is a good, really touching song. It has been released now. Anyway it was our first date after Danny was born. Tyler and I were so glad we got to go. It was a birthday present for Tyler.

Summer Hikes

Couple Hikes we have done over the summers here in salt lake. We had some fun. And I have some new pictures from a hike we did a couple weeks ago but haven't transferred them to the computer yet.
